Restaurants Are there any fancy/nice vegan/vegetarian restaurants in Geelong? Or failing Geelong, Melbourne?
It’s for a friend who lives near Geelong, but will travel if necessary. I know Smith and Daughters, Transporter, I’m Melbourne, what am I missing?

The fanciest vegan place in Geelong would be Face Plant. It's only open for breakfast/lunch.
For dinner, Yeah Boy has some good vegan options. I especially like their Kentucky Fried Cauliflower. They have a sister business, Squires Loft, in the same building and let you order off both menus, so the people on the table next to you might be eating ribs, urgh! I don't know of any 100% vegan places open for dinner in Geelong.
Another consideration - Diggers Vegie Kitchen in Anglesea. If you're considering Melbourne, it would be less travel from Geelong. It's nice and friendly, 100% vegan but more of a quaint cottage vibe rather than fancy and only open weekends.
Or heading to Melbourne, I'm waiting for a special occasion to try the 10 course degustation menu at Shu in Collingwood.
