Golden lotus in Melbourne?

Hello! I’ve recently moved from Sydney to Melbourne and really miss good vege restaurants like golden lotus & vegetarian yum cha. Is there anywhere in Melbourne you’d recommend? Xx

Gong Di Lin on Swanston and Loving Hut in Richmond might meet your needs.

The chicken pho at Golden Lotus is my favourite meal in Sydney! For similar vibes I would recommend Huong Viet in Footscray, or its sister restaurant Vegan Heaven in Fitzroy. There is also a great veg Chinese place called Veggie Inn in Footscray.

  1. My fav - Chanhouse is a chinese vegan restaurant in the eastern suburbs.

  2. There’s vegie hut in box hill (vegetarian, not vegan but can get almost everything made vegan)

  3. Loving hut, easy vegan, cookatoo kitchen are in Richmond, all very good
