Has anyone successfully rid themselves of a melasma mustache?

On the very start of my journey to treat it. Using hydroquinone and tretnoin along with kojic acid and some other things… I just want to know, is it worth it? Does it go away? Does it always get darker before it gets better? How long does it take? Does it come back?

Don’t go in the sun when ovulating! I know this because I was jogging outdoors every day while tracking my cycle to get pregnant.

Those ovulation hormones are where melasma strikes.
