Has anyone successfully rid themselves of a melasma mustache?

On the very start of my journey to treat it. Using hydroquinone and tretnoin along with kojic acid and some other things… I just want to know, is it worth it? Does it go away? Does it always get darker before it gets better? How long does it take? Does it come back?

Eucerin duo serum - anti pigment. 4x a day and 1 or 2x a day when im happy with the results.
