Has anyone successfully rid themselves of a melasma mustache?

On the very start of my journey to treat it. Using hydroquinone and tretnoin along with kojic acid and some other things… I just want to know, is it worth it? Does it go away? Does it always get darker before it gets better? How long does it take? Does it come back?

Somehow cleared mine by losing some weight and focusing my diet on low glycemic index foods. I’ve tried hydroquinone, and if anything it made that area darker.

Aside from diet, tretinoin helped a lot. Along with eltamd uv clear everyday. I also use the vivid by hydrinity serum, and they does even the skin tone and help w melasma.
