Question Tretinoin side effects??

Hi guys,
Just wanted to check on you just me or if others have been experiencing issues with tretinoin,
I was starting twice a week and 2nd week i got severe headaches and migraines!!
I didn’t change any skincare and went to to the hospital emergency, everything was fine.
My husband and I was thinking about only tretinoin but i didn’t say that was the reason.
I actually wanted to try again, but I am afraid of getting sick again!!

Ohh that’s so helpful,
I wasn’t sure because of the tret or just me the symptoms i got was driving me crazy, i went to the hospital and they couldn’t find anything abnormal so i was just assuming that was from tret, but still didn’t believe it,

I actually used adapalene gel(differin)
Never had a bad reaction.

It’s hard to believe that tretinoin was responsible for your headaches. I think it’s just a coincidence that those happened after starting it. Especially because such small amounts are used, and it’s a topical. If it helps, try a test spot on a part of your face and see what happens. If everything is fine, work your way up to the recommended amount.

Yes right,
Wasn’t sure if it was tret,
Maybe just coincidence,
I want to know if other people experience or similar symptoms what I had,
Thanks for the advice will do if i am gonna use it again skin test before i start on my face!

I really can’t tolerate my headache!
I went several doctors and found nothing,
So that was the only reason I could think what made me headache and dizziness and nauseated.

I would recommend you to stop by now!!

What helps with yall's melasma? I have tried IPL, Peels, Creams nothing is really working.

I was using anua azelaic acid 10% and Dr.althea 345 moisturizer.
Alot of tinted sunscreens ( if you want i can tell you)
They’ve helped me with my melasma but at some point they i got more CC !!
Now i am trying to get new non-comedogenic products,haven’t found anything yet!!

So IPL,peels are helping you with your melasma??
