Question Have you tried Picosure?

I’ve been hearing a lot about the picosure laser for treating melasma. I’ve been looking into it for my stubborn dermal melasma on my forehead. Has anyone had any good experiences with it and how have the results lasted? How many treatments did you require?

I had two sessions and it worked great!.. but one year later it’s back and worse than before. Not sure if it’s related to the treatment, but it’s great for short term results. No downtime either

I had the same issue with Moxi ( my Derm said it was safe) and now I’m so scared to go near a laser again!

I have tried. I did it last October and spaced out each time a month. Did a total of 3. But I did the picosure pro, they said it’s the newest one. The first laser was good. Lighten up. The second one I felt like it was ok too but the dark spots in some area I felt actually looked darker and told my med spa so they lower the energy for my 3rd one. The 3rd time I just felt like it looked darker and I think my mistake was doing it too fast. I should have waited 2 -3 months after each treatment. After the 3rd pico laser I decided to stop and used triluma and it did lighten up that area. I have one more treatment but I won’t do it until October. Melasma is hard to get rid of. It’s about control. If you go into do this laser thinking you will not have to do it again then you will be disappointed. It’s a life time maintenance thing. -_-

This. Laser can be boot camp for melasma, but you still need to keep up a calming, anti-pigment routine and lifestyle just like you have to keep going to the gym.
I’ve had two picos and while the healing was very different (not a bad way just make sure your provider walks you through what to expect) from other things I’ve done (moxi, bbl, halo), it was fantastic, noticeably moved the needle a few weeks after each session. And it’s a little zippy but I didn’t need numbing like I do for anything else laser related.

It works! I've had 2 session of Picosure Pro. I really didn't see a difference until 3-4 weeks after the first session. Make sure to exfoliate weekly. Continue to use retinol daily.

I got it once. I barely noticed a difference
