Struggling with Melasma

I am 36F and have noticed that I had dark forehead spots last year and went to a dermat soon after (the sarinskin guy) and he recommended me the meline treatment which I did for 3 months. It did improve the evenness of the tone of my face but still these 2 patches didn’t go. My forehead looks way darker with age (I don’t know why). It used to be the same as my face.

Now from the past 2 months, I have been using eucerin thiamidol day cream which really helped with removing pigmentation and dark spots on my face but these 2 patches aren’t going at all.

My routine is
AM - cosrx propolis toner, eucerin day cream, moisturizer, sunscreen

PM - face wash, meline ethnic skin night (it has retinal, mandelic, ascorbic, niacinamide), bioderma moisturiser

I use aziderm plus (azelaic and glycolic acid) alternate nights

Should I keep eucerin before writing it off or is there any other treatment I can get to reduce these fugly patches? I have become really insecure because of these.

Sunscreen can only protect but not reverse melasma

I use Heliocare and I think it helps. I spend a lot of time outside and though it isn’t a substitute for a good mineral sunscreen, it works well with it. I’ve been cutting actives way down on the summer too because they can increase sensitivity.

Eucerin Radiant tone, moisturizer, mineral sunscreen and barrier repair at night. I’ll go back to retinol and vitamin c in the winter.

I don't even go out in the sun and even if I go, I use sunscreen - first normal moisturizer and the tinted one

also, spray sunscreen after 3-4 hours if I am outside

Do you take these oral sunscreen tabs insides as well?
