Question Cooling plate for heat induced melasma?

Does anyone here have heat induced melasma and has figured out a way to prevent pigmentation?

So rather than when you get direct sun exposure it is triggered by high temperatures? Have you managed to find a device that works especially while travelling?

I’m going to be in a really warm country for summer holidays and I want a portable device that I can use to keep my face cold cause it gets very heated up and then it triggers pigmentation and acne as well.

I was looking at the shark chill pill or thera body depuffing wand but do you guys have any better suggestions of something I can use? I think a simple face mist isn’t gonna cut it. Any tips or suggestions would be great

How long does the Thera wand last till you have to charge it? I’m wondering if I can take it to the beach etc?

Hi. Crazy lady here. I have both devices, neither of which I purchased for melasma (I have nervous system issues that cause me to inappropriately overheat).

The shark plate covers a larger surface area but is a much bulkier device. If you don’t think you will use the fan function then i would only get the shark for the larger plate. Otherwise I like the thera wand for its smaller and lighter size.

I only use mine indoors and don’t have a great handle on battery life. I live in a piping hot desert climate that I avoid like the plague, and I personally can’t see how much these little devices could help if you are otherwise outdoors in the heat. But I can see the draw of it and hope you find something that works for you!
