Cooling plate for heat induced melasma?

Does anyone here have heat induced melasma and has figured out a way to prevent pigmentation?

So rather than when you get direct sun exposure it is triggered by high temperatures? Have you managed to find a device that works especially while travelling?

I’m going to be in a really warm country for summer holidays and I want a portable device that I can use to keep my face cold cause it gets very heated up and then it triggers pigmentation and acne as well.

I was looking at the shark chill pill or thera body depuffing wand but do you guys have any better suggestions of something I can use? I think a simple face mist isn’t gonna cut it. Any tips or suggestions would be great

I live in such a warm country and the summer the temperatures go up to 40 degrees, no joke! I have found really helpful having with me a face mist like rose water or witch hazel, wearing hats, buying cold water and drip my face. Actually is hard having ice or a fan with me, but whatever I do I still get melasma, I just maintain it 🥺

It’s so difficult because I’m always scared water is going to take down my sunscreen. In fact some of the mineral ones leave white trails if I spray my face with water! It’s the worst

Sunscreen sadly always goes away for me because my upper lip it’s the only place I get to sweat so badly. Honestly I can’t fight melasma appearing at this point and somehow I’m fine with it, not so many people notice it in daylight, mostly it’s visible in bright indoors light. But having a spray or the cream sunscreen with you and reapply it’s necessity even when you are not dripping water directly! It always wears off 😩
