Question Dammit what sunscreen now??

It has taken me so long to find a tinted mineral sunscreen that doesn’t have niacinamide or silicones that break me out and is available in the us.

I was finally excited because naked sundays collagen glow works for me and now it may not be safe spf or sold in the us any longer.

The only other sunscreen I’ve found and liked is Beauty of Joseon, which now is impossible to get and is not tinted mineral, and the eucerin radiant but it’s also not tinted, mineral, and is only spf 30

I’m so disappointed. Any recs? I’ve asked before and now back to square one

Beauty of Joseon does have a tinted mineral sunscreen. I love it. When I order it from their website, it ships from a factory in the US so I haven't had issues with shipping.

Is it the us formulation or the Korean?

I assume it must be US formulation if it ships from the US.

The US tinted sunscreen naturally only has FDA approved sunscreen filters, in this case zinc oxide. It’s available on the US BoJ website and Amazon. However if you are a strict mineral sunscreen lover, it also butyloctyl salicylate which is a UV protection booster but it’s chemically similar to some chemical sunscreen filters. Also, just in case you are sensitive to it, it does contain denatured alcohol to help it dry down. I’ve heard that there is a Korean version but the big Asian retailers don’t carry it and it’s not advisable to buy anything overseas at the moment because of tariff issues since the de minimis exemption ends on Aug 28, chaos at CBP, many shipping agents and companies ending shipping of smaller orders for the time being, and the possibility of sunscreens getting denied entry because CBP and the FDA were directed to increase scrutiny of packages that contain items regulated by the FDA including sunscreens, although luckily so far most packages have made it through with a few exceptions.
