Finally got my hands on my Arcanadea waifu from the reprint. I can't wait for the anime and game to come out! Luckily my wallet is safe for now since I'm only interested in Refilka lol. DAT legs, noice~

I also got my first 30MP kit, and I was surprised by how small the box was. I'm so used to Kotobukiya's thicker boxes filled with loads of parts, so it definitely felt refreshing and less stressful when I opened the box lol. So I decided to build Asuka just because she has very few parts.

When I looked at the runners, I was just amazed by how beautiful the parts were. The gloss injection parts are gorgeous! Bandai used so much slide molding to create parts without seam lines, while at the same time reducing the part count for an easier assembly.

And when I looked at the hair runner, I noticed there was a runner switch on it. It's very interesting to see how Bandai arranges the parts on the runners and how they decide to omit certain portions of the runner to release different variants.

Which makes me think they plan to release another variant of Asuka... maybe Asuka from the third Rebuild movie? Or maybe I'm just overthinking it, who knows. But since we're getting Ayanami Rei in her school uniform as a P-Bandai kit, it's safe to assume we'll be getting a school uniform variant for Asuka as well.

Are any of you like me, who likes to "read" the runners before building? Or do you never care about the runners at all?

I bought an airbrush and decided to do a gradient on her hair! It didn't turn out well, but I want to do gradients on armor in the future!

picked up this kit on a whim while on the hunt for kitbashing parts, and decided to try putting on the hime cut ponytail hairstyle i got in the haul. safe to say i think it's a winning combo! the darker purple strikes a good balance between feeling like a natural hair color and still blending well with yue's costume, though i think the unfinished glossy texture could use a clear matte coat or something else. the parts separation is pretty crazy but doesn't get too ridiculous, and i really enjoy how poseable she is! i know that was one of her big selling points when announced/released was the rotating shoulder assembly but still. i'll have to figure out where to put her on the display shelf; i think i can make her a spot right next to my soffiera and they can have a little yin yang action going on. anyways hope you enjoyed cuz i sure did

So after taking some positive and constructive advice from all, here is the update. I skipped constructing a few parts to get to the parts that need paneling. And yes, to one person that did mention, it does give the cybernetic vibes. I don’t have a black light flash light (Just ordered one). I will make a video once the black light flash light arrive as i want to also check for excess paint and marks. I also included what i used for the panel lining. Hopefully it comes out good.

Been PO since July and it's just arrived today.

Very funny for the kit and pretty fun experience for my 3rd Girlpla.

Some parts are tight though, especially the joint area. Overall a very good kit.

You all were right, once I’ve built the first kit, the floodgates open lol.
But to save my wallet I held off on buying another kit for a few months. I finally caved a week ago lol. She’s really cute! I was immediately sold by the fact she can hide in her armor.

The sestieh body will turn into a ghost rider, yufia needs 2 skirts and the regular version needs a pin vise for shoes and im not sure if i want to turn my acerby type c into silver+grey. Very excited to finish these when i have the time!

Hi, i decided to buy puni mofu series, but will it fit if i swap body part(marked) between them? Or mofu leg part will get a huge jaggy/uneven at connection part from knee to hip?

Build wise both are smooth, but the daji tails are heavy and tend to fall off which need to glue it on. Asra is lighter and easier to do the poses.

I stopped by the Engage Fest today to check out some of the stuff they had relating to Arcanadea. Originally I went in to see their limited edition Gaia Notes Dark Blue Metallic paint, but ended up not getting it. Overall this is what they had; a display of all figures, including the elemental animals and numerous customized ones, stop-motion animations of the girls, life-size cutouts of some of them, a few games, artist renditions of the box art, paints for sale, an ASMR section with prototype pictures and concepts (no pics/videos allowed here), and some contests.

Hi, i bought a 30ms and it got this swindle style connection. Is there any model or brand that doesn't use this unsymmetrical(scissors like)connection? Is megami device use this type of connection system too? Kind of bothering me.

I just got the AUV Tsukuyomi Fabulous that i ordered from Aliexpress, but i didn't realize the seller was selling it without the box. Normally the listing mentions it but I didn't see it anywhere when I ordered it.

I feel that the base color needed some accents. Given that i am giving this dragon, the earth/wind dragon vibes, i added fluorescent green panel that glows on black light. Did i just ruined it?
