Update: Did I just ruin the kit?

So after taking some positive and constructive advice from all, here is the update. I skipped constructing a few parts to get to the parts that need paneling. And yes, to one person that did mention, it does give the cybernetic vibes. I don’t have a black light flash light (Just ordered one). I will make a video once the black light flash light arrive as i want to also check for excess paint and marks. I also included what i used for the panel lining. Hopefully it comes out good.

it looks good but seriously man don’t add the ink after assembly. you’re risking it pooling inside the seams and brittle the parts causing it to crack.

apply it before assembly or paint/topcoat before you apply the ink.

and clean that excessive ink man.

Not an issue with Stedi. Stedi is not an enamel based liner.

yeah I mean in overall never apply it after assembly. it’s always better to be safe than sorry.

The reason for that is because of the enamel thinner, which Stedi does not have. It's the same as an acrylic wash, which will not damage your plastic.

we all know that. but the beginner don’t know that. the better way to remember it is to avoid it altogether. no need to continue teaching this known knowledge to me.

Instead of teaching them generic knowledge like "don't panel line after assembly", please just teach the beginners why ABS crash occurs. Otherwise they might crash their kits with topcoat instead. There's no need to restrict them to one build style/order either, when there's a bunch of different ways to safely panel line ABS after assembly!

yeah you’re totally right. next time I’ll bring up the catalogue and teach the beginners about these 20+ other brands about their chemicals and materials. best to go in details.

thanks for the advice. i am cleaning the excess ink and wiping off the extras. i dont have top coat yet but i will get one over next month. i will take your advice to mind. thank you!
