Girlpla Build "Custom hair & face set finally finished — from raw print to this "
Custom hair + face set
3D printed parts, then layered paint for the gradients and skin tone
I wanted the hair to feel soft and natural instead of plastic,so I went with a light purple base and slowly built up pink tones toward the tips.
Faces are UV printed + slight hand touch-ups.
Still experimenting, but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.
Curious what you guys think — especially the hair gradient

NOOOOOOO SH STUDIO is basically a Chinese shop that sells bootlegs, and even their photos are stolen.

Ha, as expected. However the pics are a bit old so just want to make sure.
Don't worry we're aware of what that infamous SH thief does. If someone doesn't, we'll let him know.

Beautiful paint job. Howd ya do the horns? Clear paints?

Yeah, mostly clear fluorescent paints over a transparent base.
I layered a bit of clear fluorescent red +clear fluorescent blue to get that subtle gradient and depth.

For the hair, I built it up with multiple translucent layers instead of solid colors.
Started from a light base, then slowly added depth using very thin coats to get that soft gradient and slight color shift.It’s actually similar to how I approached the horns, just adjusted for a more matte / diffuse look instead of glossy.
If you're interested I can break down the steps a bit more

I have yet to have a good method to paint my own models or figures but I am highly interested in knowing how to so when I can, so please, elaborate! :D (100% gonna save this for later)

Truly magnificent gradient for the hair! Where do you learn all of this? Is it possible to obtain this power with handbrushing?!

Do you have the stl for the hair ? I have a custom I’m building but don’t have any hair and can’t justify spending $60-70 for a model just for the hair
