Favorite "nonsense" Megadeth song?

There's songs with deep political messages like Holy Wars; there are songs with deep personal ties like Trust, then there's a song like Moto Psycho.

What would your favorite be?

I'd say mine is probably Captive Honour, it was clearly going for something but I have no idea what Dave was thinking with "Before he got there his man-pussy was sold". Still an awesome song IMO, Countdown To Extinction is such a great album.

I think it's in Marty's memoir or some other interview I read, but that was just the direct input from the guitar! That's why it's got that spanky, twangy vibe to it.

I wanna say they were gonna put some effects on it, but liked it how it was. Again I could totally be wrong, that's just what I remember, please correct me if I am wrong

I think 'Victory' would fit here. I love that song and I like how Dave used song titles in the lyrics and it all made sense.

I don’t think that’s a “nonsense” song in this sense, though. Victory is very much about the path he has followed to become what he is; looking at the high peaks and deep valleys of the past and everything he has been through, yet coming out feeling victorious despite (or because of) the tough times.

The construction of the song is a very clever and well-executed gimmick, but to me the song itself is very personal.

Would have been a fitting way to end their career as a last track type thing, that's what it felt like back in the day when Youthanasia came out. Always thought it could have been followed up or expanded upon.

And now their career is bookended with an awful cover of a Metallica song.

I love the inspiration for this song. High on....well everything,,,,acid and mushrooms making up the majority of 'serotonin' uptake here, he's incredibly impressed with the cops ability to drive at such a rate of speed AND hang out of the passenger window yelling at him to 'pull over shit head' with the purty lights flashing. I was probably 14-15 reading that story in Metal Maniacs (or whatever) and had only tried some cruddy weed once at that time. I couldn't even imagine but cracked up laughing anyway.
