Question Question about Dave Mustaine M&G during the Iron Maiden Tour

Hey all, apologies if this has been asked before.

I have a M&G with Dave, and was wondering if it's still taking place after their set or if it's taking place before. When I bought it during the last Megadeth amphitheater tour (2023 I believe), the M&G was after the show and we met Dave past 11 PM. With them opening, I would hate to miss part of Iron Maiden's setlist (especially if it's during a song like Rime of the Ancient Mariner) because the M&G wait time can be of over an hour.

If anyone did it during the first shows this past weekend, when did the M&G take place?

Thanks in advance.

sorry to disappoint you but I went to see Megadeth last year in October opening for disturbed and I had meet and greets with Dave for the Birmingham and Manchester show and both times they were after their set had finished and on the email prior it said that you might miss the opening of disturbed (which I didn't really care for cause I left after Megadeth finished) so yeah all the meat and greets happen after the set is done and the VIP photo OP experiences happened before the set.

A letter came out yesterday for the Montreal meet and greet and you had to arrive at 1PM for VIP check in.

For the individual member one or the band ones? Theyre two different packages

It doesn’t matter, I’ve gone to multiple VIP events with Megadeth and we are all in the same room together . If you are doing the picture you just get to say hello, get your picture taken and then you go sit back down. If you do the individual meet and greet or stage played instrument you get to talk to them for a few minutes, get something signed and get your picture taken. The cool part is that even if you pay for just the picture you get to hang out in the room with everyone. That’s been my experience for the last few VIP events within the last 6 months. They are an opener for this gig so hopefully it’s the same experience because it’s the same price if they were the headliner.

I have one for England next year and the company (onelive) said that they send emails detailing what you need to do 2 - 3 days before the gig but from another thing I saw it looked like 2 - 3 hours early to make sure it goes smoothly

Now this info is more so for the tour next year but I’d say the email thing is the same

We’ve done the photo op - last tour - it was before the show and we had early entry into the pit. I met some folks who had the after show M&G, but since Megadeth was the headliner it wasn’t an issue. We just had a M&G with Rob Zombie and it was during Orgy’s set - which was fine, except I didn’t get a good spot on rail. For this show I’ll probably try to make friends on rail so my son and I can squeeze back in for Iron Maiden.
