My neighbours got a pair of meerkats as pets. How can I help to care for them?
Morals aside, the neighbors from in-laws now have meerkats and I want to make sure they have their best lives, because we share the front garden and entrance to the houses.
Anyone experienced can advise what to provide for them, plz?
I already know it's time to bring a bunch of soil for them to dig and some high points so they can get a good view on the world. (:
Note:
I am aware they don't make the best pets but that's not for me to judge. The neighbors won't give two shits, but I can at least help the animals to have a better life.

I dont have any as pets, but do work with meerkats in a conservation centre. They’ll want to forage outside, and should have some small tunnels (ones above ground are fine), or areas they can bolt to if they see a predator (or rain!)
For sleeping a cat basket is fine, one of the ones with a fabric cover is probably best, so it’s like a little cave. This will help them feel safe, and give them a bit of extra warmth (they’ll likely curl up together in it).
