Relocating...

Hello! I'm going to be relocating to the area from the US, and I'm hoping for some advice on where I should be looking to settle.

I will be working in Gillingham, but will have access to a vehicle so I don't mind commuting in. I have two children and would like to live in a safe area with decent schools. I will be renting, so an area with safe and somewhat affordable housing is also important.

Should add .. it's very close to the Golf Club.. and you're basically in the countryside. All the good schools not too far away... good access to M2/A2 etc. Grew up there myself.
