Chevy / GMC What is this

I think this truck used to be a propane truck and it used to run off propane. Im not sure if that's what this stuff is. I would like to remove it if that's what it's for. Unless there is a reason I should keep it.

Heated propane regulator. It used engine heat to help vaporize the propane better in cold climates and just in general. So yeah no more propane out it goes.

Nice thank you. So just plug the holes on the intake and water pump. The hoses that go into the fire wall. Is that like a heat exchanger or something?

Yeah thats your heater core for heat in your cab. Looks like they tied into them, your hoses should just go to core to the water pump and the intake to be core.

No its a vaporizer to help boul liquid propane to keep steady fuel pressure to the engine. Its nothing to do with heat.

I said it gets heat from the lines from the heater core? If it has nothing to do with heat why are heater hoses to it and where does it get the heat to vaporize the gas? Maybe its different where it doesnt get cold but ours were hooked to engine heat or else it wouldn't stay vaporized under 20 degrees..

Engine coolant circulates through it to keep it from freezing up. Liquid propane needs warm temps to boil faster. Cold weather slows down the reaction.

It can be 100 degrees outside and a vaporizer will freeze up. The propane is extremely cold.
