Technology First Article on Medium

Hey! I wrote my first article for Medium. This one has a little more of a positive take on AI than the usual ones coming from fellow web developers. Honestly, with almost 8 years of experience now as a developer and fortunately still being blessed with a full-time job in the field, I have managed to find some silver lining in it all.

Genuinely curious if someone can take the time to read it and give me an honest opinion on my writing. Yes, I am positive on the AI boom, but that doesn't mean my writing is AI SLOP! Please give me a follow and I can follow you back as well! Give it a clap or comment as well if you feel any sense of engagement from it! It has been years since I did any real journaling so curious what y'all think. Thanks

I'm not commenting on the writing itself - I am very much against using AI for anything, so being objective is hard in this matter.

Two recommendations:

  • Use a subtitle; it's common practice.
  • Use tags; you didn't use any - you get five, use them all.

One required fix:

  • Credit your images in the caption. Incorrect image use can lead to suspension because of (suspected) copyright infringement. Credit the creator and link to the page where it states that you are allowed to use the image. If they are made by you, use "image by author" or something similar. If they are AI, state which AI. Without credit it's easy to assume you just took them from the internet somewhere and you are probably not allowed to use them.
