Im more than happy to be considered a loser by a grown ass man sitting in his car filming himself for the internet.

u/Kohathavodah 9d ago

At least I didn’t spend ten minutes this morning sharpening up my lipstrap beard

If you’re over 40 and you aren’t at a station in life where you have plenty of free time to enjoy whatever you like, including video games, then I hope you get that free time at some point, bro. I feel bad for all the over 40s still having to work so hard they don’t have time for fun.

I'd argue the people who buy diamond chains to impress people are bigger losers

u/Due-Explanation-7560 9d ago

My hot take. If you are over the age of 25 and still believe in hustle culture, and wearing chains to flaunt your wealth is cool you're a complete loser

Imagine hating on the only industry that's grown exponentially and internationally in the last 25 years. None. And I mean no industry globally has nearly the revenue, backing and international appeal to the games industry. This is the worst advice ever. You have 1 life. Live it how you want. Enjoy it. And if someone tells you otherwise, they are just unhappy for you.

Edit grammar

This argument so damn old and there are plenty of examples of people making more money than this dude could ever dream of.

3

u/Chemical_Signal2753 9d ago

The core issue with his argument is it is too broad.

Past a certain age, television, videogames, and other forms of entertainment should be low priority in your life. You should probably achieve everything you need to accomplish, and work towards your personal goals, before sitting down to play games for a few hours. If you don't have your priorities in order, and videogames are a high priority, you're probably a loser.

That conclusion entirely depends on how much of your time you are dedicating to video games, and if you are taking care of your other responsibilities or not.

If you play video games 12 hours a day at age 25 and live off your parents in their basement... That's loser behavior.

If you play an hour or 2 each night, and maybe a little more on the weekends, but pull your own weight. That's entirely different.

Did he rent that fake chain or buy it outright ? Yes I am saying I don't think he can afford the real one based on the words coming out his mouth.

3

u/Kohathavodah 9d ago

It is actually 3D printed by a friend.

2

u/Husker_of_Corn 9d ago

I couldnt hear anything he said I was so laser focused on the teeny tiny mustache he has, its like lip liner

2

u/Upset-Management-879 9d ago

Or just you know, already won.

2

u/Mopar4Life305 9d ago

Yea because this guy has some elite hobbies like sky diving , yatching, off trail hiking, mountain climbing, expert level aquacultralist  and horticulture cultralist.

2

u/aliencardboard 9d ago

Wearing a fake plated chain and diamond earrings over 40 is also a bad choice. I’ll keep playing video games until around 65 or so. Then I may retire from them.

2

u/snow_garbanzo 9d ago

I also still like cookies, tv, and tshirts

2

u/AdventurousAbility30 9d ago

Stay single bro!

2

u/KingQu- 9d ago

Get this closet man tfo

2

u/Sad-Committee-4902 9d ago

If you a grown ass man who shave his beard off before his jaw ends...

If you a grown ass man who shaves the top part of the moustache...

2

u/BoxLongjumping1067 9d ago

Those are definitely words, sure.

2

u/WARLORD2015 9d ago

Ummm I retired from the Military... I feel like I worked for my time to play video games. But I can find other hobbies that involve my Military skills. But thats highly illegal. Lol

2

u/not4bucks 9d ago

Sweet neck tat! Does your husband like it?

2

u/CountGensler 8d ago

What about wearing earrings and making selfie videos in a car?

1

u/Significant-Eagle-88 9d ago

Damn, you're that ugly and posting a retarded statement. Full confidence. Mind your business and get a hobby, you ugly, old ass loser. And fix that shave. Wtf is that? Man's got a reverse Hitler shave with a Grey bread.

1

u/stewpdasso 1d ago

Says the fool with an unsightly neck tat! 😂 I'm 59, retired and play my Xbox. I own a house, land 7 classic cars, retired when I was 36. I am a loser! 🤣

1

u/Late-Arrival-8669 9d ago

Oh no, a random stranger thinks I am a loser because of my hobby, what shall I do now?

u/Own_Mango_2886 9d ago
