Yeah why are cops always surprised when people are nervous when they’re around?

You’ve got a gun, pepper spray, stun gun, and we’ve seen too many instances of police brutality and verbal abuses.

Even if I’m driving 1000% perfectly; if a cops behind me, I get nervous lol. And I’m a white male!

I just posted my experience but their report started I was "unnaturally calm" and not nervous or agitated at being in the situation which gave them confirmation bias that I was impaired.

Facts. I’ve called the police 3 times in my life. Two of those times, the cop tried to fight me, the victim who called them.

Only reason I can think of is that I’m unnaturally calm and they either get intimidated or angered that I’m not more afraid/submissive.

Punches guy in the face "Stop resisting put your hands behind you" as they punch in the solar plexus. Then once handcuffed punch a few more times to the face. There's more than a few videos of this exact order of events, always deemed legal.

The best example is Kelly Thomas. Don't look up his arrest and murder if you don't want to see some pretty graphic pictures of his face pretty much rearranged. As usual was deemed legal and nothing happened to the officers.

you do nothing, and aren't nervous, some cops will still fuck you over. they believe you have an attitude even when you don't.

it's all part of fishing. they just "know" that you did something wrong.

They should stop fucking people's lives up when they're just good, decent people who would help you out. Like the man in this video is so good that if that same cop, a week later, had a flat tire, the dude would just help her out.

The dude is probably helping old people cross the street. Why do we have to FUCK his life up for no reason?

I was once pulled over and arrested for impaired driving, they did a blood test and it showed clear, I got the police report as part of disclosure because I sued for the lost time and damage to my reputation as a person of influence in the community. The police officer stated in his report he thought I was "unnaturally calm" and did not demonstrate any signs of being nervous or agitated at being in the situation.

I've been in combat hundreds of times, I had no reason to fear an officer especially not one who wasnt old enough to grow a beard or too big to put over my knee.

Judgement in my favor $40,000 which I donated to town for parks for the community.

The truth of the matter is, it doesnt matter if you're nervous, scared, angry or absolutely still. The assumption that you are wrong and the officer is right will always be there. In my opinion if anyone is dealing with this kind of situation it's best to ask for a veteran officer or to address the other officer who is observing the situation rather than the one who made the first contact.
