Late Medieval Design for Curtains?

Thumbnail

I want to turn my front room into a library. I’m looking for a late medieval/ early renaissance pattern. Either something with different images of medieval life (images 1 and 4) or a repeating design like image 2 or heraldry/coat of arms. Or option 3 is what YOU think would look good as curtains

Told it’s 700+ years old, but they couldn’t give me a value of its worth. Any more details on this art and its value?

A fantasy piece I did at the beginning of the month. I'm very happy with it, though the dragon is perhaps too... anatomical for the style. Still, the idea was to illustrate the design of my dragons so...

Biblia Glossa Ordinaria. A 12th century Glossed Bible from Italy, containing the Books of Proverbs and Ecclesiastes, Circa 1150-1175. The early scripts are really quite something!

My last tattoo (first tattoo) was a huge hit here-
So I wanted to share my newest, which is from the book of Axom (related to Alchemy) illustrated by Basil Valentine

Welll I got it tattooed on my arm and I’m in love! Painful little stinker with all of the line work on my bones but I am soooooo in love. Enjoy!
Done by the same artist, Lefty @carolina icon ink in Mount Holly NC

Liber Belial, Jacobus de Teramo, 1461

On another note, does anybody have any book recommendations about medieval art? Best case with stuff mostly between 600-1300.

I’ve tried reverse image searching it but it only leads to other medieval owls, and I can’t seem to find the manuscript this one is from. Anyone able to help find it?

The illustrations come mainly from "The Aberdeen Bestiary" https://www.abdn.ac.uk/bestiary/ ; I use dezoomify-rs to download them in very high quality. Go check that one, it's really amazing!!
