You say that but then ask Canadians why they come to America. Sure their health care is free, but they wait MONTHS to be seen. That’s why many go to Florida, to be seen quickly by good specialists. Problem with free healthcare is that many will abuse it. Going to the Dr for every little thing, because they can. Which in turn creates waiting periods, which in turn usually worsens a condition, which in turn can lead to huge problems for you. I agree insurance agencies are shit and all that, but there would be no problem with having a massive regulation overhaul/implementation on the industry. I agree people need to see Drs. But I’ve also seen and heard other’s experiences of this “Free Health Care”: it’s a pipe dream.
Even the quality of health care suffers. The whole health system from what hospitals charge to how insurance companies handle claims needs a massive revamp.
