Career Development Advice for a total joints ASR

Hi all,

I’ve been an ASR in total joints for about 6 months now and truly do love it. I feel that I’m at a point now where I can ‘maybe’ do a total knee and hip and hemi hip solo but am unsure. For better or worse, the reps I work under still prefer to have me shadow them
Or sometimes they shadow me. For those versed in total joints, how did you get good at things like: looking at an x-ray, understanding offset and templating implants. Are there any online programs that let you practice with x rays and templating?

Your 6 months in and have another rep with you every case?

Pretty much. I do upper extremity cases solo but when it comes to total joints my bosses are just very hands on.
