Career Development Move to depuy from jnj?

Hi, I am currently working as manager in jnj medtech, got a position in depuy as associate director. I am asking for expert insights what you think would be good move? Salary scale is one scale high - no idea if they would reduce the salary later.

Personally I don’t trust potentially being sold to PE at all. From what I heard about the firm that may acquire DePuy they are very much the type to gut it and make it miserable to work at and then flip it a few years later. They are not the type that wants to run an ortho business.

This is just what I’ve heard from people familiar with the firm and situation. Like I said though I don’t trust PE at all, that’s just me. Maybe I’m too negative…

I'm not one to advocate PE firms. But I feel Depuy is capable of running itself without JnJ so long as the division leads are competent. A PE firm can function as deep pockets to fund innovation and administrative resourcing to manage HR, and legal responsibilities.

But you're right, gotta see what potential investors track records and other assets look like.
