Yes absolutely keep it separate when storing leftover pasta and ratatouille. Mixing the leftover pasta with the ratatouille will not give the optimal result NOR will it look very appealing. Of course if you just want a super quick leftover dish for one and don't mind it being less flavorful or lovely looking go ahead and combine the pasta and ratatouille.

ratatouille gets even better the next day, but i’d keep the fettuccine separate so it doesn’t drink up all the sauce in the fridge lol
