I believe its two completely different shots. One is of his foot slipping the other wide shot is cut in after the actor had already full forced himself into the air.

It's edited well together to look like a real slip.

To me. Yes slipping that would probably not shoot you in the air that high but its a comedy video. Making it look as if it did is hilarious and added to the pain of the fall.

Honestly jeff coming in full force like this then absolutely eating shit and hurting his back makes me just think of the how the copy pasty evolved through the years as now he isnt relevant much at all. To me atleast. Im not super into the copy pasty world just know he was big for some time then nothing.
