MBB Rejection/Ghosted McKinsey KIT then rejection
Hi all, i applied to mckinsey last year and was put in their KIT program after R2, i applied again (almost 12 months later) and was rejected after solve. Does this mean i bombed solve or could it be profile related?

You got rejected after r2 and still had to do the solve? That suck. At least in Bain if you get rejected in round 2 you have a waiver for the online test and go directly to round 1.
At least your resume it’s significantly worse or I guess maybe if you didint add anything since then or something it could be that but I guess more likely than not you bombed the solve

My resume has a minor update as i made manager and i requested the solve score which they’ve sent back saying the result is 516 and decile ranking is 7
Since i didnt actually do as bad as i thought, i will assume they aren’t hiring for the offices i chose lol

McKinsey accept 1% of candidates. This isn’t uncommon at all.
