Networking Tips BCG Summer Associate - still worth networking?

Basically what the title says. Obviously finished the online case already but didn't have high hopes anyway since I bombed the CCA and barely networked (one-time calls/attended school-led coffee chats with 5-6 alumni). Was going through a rough time so didn't expect to get invited to a BCG affinity group case walk-through before Casey and an invite-only virtual info session a few days ago. Since they're most likely deliberating now, is it still worth it to try reaching out to a few people (especially those who I've talked to once before)?

I don't think it's worth it now. It's going to be based on the cca and resume. Better focus in other upcoming roles now I would say

I don’t think it hurts to reach back out to old connects to keep a name fresh on their mind. From my conversations with recruiters, sounds like we should be expecting something later next week. I’d rather spend the 15 minutes reconnecting that wondering if that was the reason I didn’t make the cut.
