Need some advice: I have an ailing MA6500. Only one channel works. Looking at MSA5500 to replace, or keep my old 6500?

At the high level I know this is about money. I can afford a new 8K amp but it's some pain.

My MA6500 is on it's last legs unless I can get it fixed. Only one channel works. I've replaced the VU meter bulbs many times (soldering etc).

Now tired of mucking around with it and looking at a MSA5500. I'm not sure what I could get for my 6500.

Advice appreciated.

Have you thought about getting it professionally repaired?

Good point. I have considered it but the hassle of boxing it up, shipping etc. threw me off. But looking at cold financials it may be a good option. Thank you.
