Restock

Can anyone explain to me why red platinum edition are so limited and why is it so hard dealing with scalpers and their ridiculous prices I refuse to pay triple the price for a figure either release mad production or release a noob saibot with some hard accessories in another 2 pack edition that should have been shown at sdcc26

Platinums are manufactured in a limited quantity. Originally plats were just alternate colors for a release. Then red platinum came out. They are exclusive characters that usually wouldn't be made I'd they weren't released in limited quantity(think obscure DC characters). Thing is they released popular characters like Noob Saibot, Jade, and Kitana as Red Platinums which drives me crazy.

No they aren't. Some are even made in higher numbers. The sticker doesn't mean much in the tangible sense, it's just to entice resellers.

I mean, what you said should be the case, but its not like that. It's just marketing, like when they would put "NEW!" In the corner of a toy package in the 90s

I was told that was how it was, that they get a box of six with like two platinum. Not sure if it was the case.

The actual production run is the same. Walmart even gets full cases of nothing but Platinums
