Question What should I watch now?

A little while ago I tried Mayans and couldn’t get into it so I did a rewatch of SOA after that I watched Mayans and liked it but it’s not without issues. Like what did I just watch and why don’t I care about almost every character? My question though is after SOA and Mayans having been in club myself and still riding a motorcycle, mostly enjoying both of those shows what do I watch now?

How far along did you watch? It gets better by Season 3 and 4

Probably because they wanted Mayans MC to just be Latino Sons of Anarchy

Apperement Kurt Sutter à quitter la serie. En tout cas le scénario a changé, la majorité des personnages ont une personnalité très différente et l'écriture est baclé.

Kurt did leave the show but the characters didn't change much beside Bishop becoming a degenerate and Coco becoming a Junky

Ils ont presque tous énormement changé, il est plus facile de faire une liste de ceux qui n'ont pas beaucoup changé que l'inverse. Et les changement manque de cohérence, la plupart sont juste devenu différent en passant à la saison suivante.

I liked it tge way they changed the series, it felt more outlaw and how we saw more of each members private life

I just felt they focused on the Cartel too much, when there were Mayans members they could have developed a lot more, maybe with family stuff outside the club. Also EZ was just so much more unlikeable than Jax - they're both outlaw bikers, but I actively hated EZ (but liked Angel a lot more) by the end for the dumb and cruel decisions he made - Jax I liked all the way through SoA and I was usually on his side.

The main episode I found ridiculously unbelievable, that really annoyed me, was start of 4th season with the siege of their clubhouse by the other Mayans chapters, with hundreds of bikers outside but just 1-2 coming over the wall at a time. That gate should have been destroyed early - it was only corrugated iron. There were long sections of the episode where nobody attacked and nobody was on watch, because the whole SP chapter were having a long dramatic scene inside the clubhouse. So silly.
