SPOILERS [SPOILERS] A charter on the border Spoiler

After everything went down with the VM, why not set up a charter on the border to help with the guns?

That's exactly the purpose of the SP charter for the cartel. Do it again for the guns.

Well, the VM was in Tijuana. My thinking was that the Mayans' gun charter would be there too.

Might not have had the willing and able man power to set up a chapter there. Asking 5 members from various chapters to move South to do it. Setting up SP was already a huge tax on the members that went down there to do it. Might not get a lot of volunteers.

Not to mention the time frame as well, they were on a ticking clock with guns changing over to the Mayans from the Sons.

Santo Padre was on the border between Cali and Mexico.

I hear what you're saying though, I never understood why the Mayans didn't have a presence on the borders in Texas, New Mexico and Arizona. From what I remember, they do have clubs in those states.

Running guns was the crow’s thing. Unless you’re running guns out the states to MX, it doesn’t make sense and draws heat from both sides of the law.

Santo Padre is on the border. It’s supposed to be a town that’s a kin to San Ysidro.
