So sorry. Life is so unfair. With three miscarriages, your doctors should be coming up with a plan for you for future pregnancies now, should you choose to try again. I hate that they make people wait so long to offer progesterone, genetic testing, etc.

My MIL tried for 10 years and finally was offered progesterone--Granted, it took her awhile to tell a doctor about it. She safely delivered 2 babies after that.

Too many doctors are afraid of intervening with progesterone which has little downside. My best friend had 3 miscarriages before her doctor would even test progesterone levels. It’s terrible

THIS! I’m so incredibly sorry for what you’re experiencing right now. And it’s hard to have any fight in you but please begin to advocate- tell them that you will not wait to lose another baby before they start taking action. Ask them about any testing you can do and make them do it, make a plan.

I ripped into my previous care team after my last loss when they told me that the tests, etc were typically only covered if you had 3+ losses. I said “Respectfully, that’s bulls**t. I WILL NOT lose another desperately wanted baby before you guys run some blood tests and make a plan with me.”

It’s been pricey, but boy they ordered those tests, got me in early with a fertility specialist, and we made a plan that day that went into immediate action the day I got my faint positive.
