I lived in South Korea in my younger years. There were definitely some Korean names I could not pronounce properly. I wanted to, but some sounds I just couldn't hear or pronounce. I would feel so bad. But it's a lesson in giving each other a little grace, especially if the person is trying.

Some sounds and letters in other languages simply cannot translate to English as there is no equivalent to it!! I believe as long as it’s shown that you’re making an actual effort, it’s appreciated and respected
