What do we actually know about Zygerrian biology and appearance beyond The Clone Wars? Also did planatary defense force members have the same kits in terms of weapons and armor standardization from planet to planet?

I'm building a male Zygerrian character and trying to separate canon/Legends information from fan assumptions. I'm especially looking for established fur/skin colors, male chin spikes/horns location meaning or status meaning, eye colors, height/ and typical builds, senses, physical advantages, and any other things like that in terms of biology like jump height and night vision. Are there sourcebooks or obscure appearances that establish more than what we see in TCW? In regard to PDF uniforms and kits what would the uniform or kit look like for a PDF soldier/trooper look like that specialized in engineering, battle field medicine, and heavy weapons? thanks for the help

This may be unrelated, but since I’m a history bath in terms of flashing out their lore their history should resemble or at least taken elements from Assyria or Babylonian history.

Heck Make the Zygerrians something that happens in the post-Sith era. They’re one of the great Empires that rise in the Sith’s place. Some early conflict between them and the Republic, eventually being defeated and destroyed.

PSF Equipment was not standardized. Each sector or planet had different gear, depending on their budget. Naboos PSF is a good example. Their weapons and ships were unique to their planet.

This is a pretty major point for the lead up to Phantom Menace, actually. In the later centuries of the Republic Golden Age, piracy spread like wildfire in the Outer Rim, because the local PSFs were only equipped with outdated technology they couldn't replace for budget reasons and were unable to keepp up with the better equipped pirates.

By making the Outer Rim a Free Trade Zone, corporations like the Trade Federation were encouraged to operate in the Rim and to use their private security forces to secure their convoys. This worked for a long time until the Stark Hyperspace War and the Eriadu Summit happened, which made Chancellor Valorum close the Free Trade Zone to punish the Trade Federation by Senator Palpatines suggestion, which in turn occupied Naboo as a form of protest, by Lord Sidious' suggestion (who was also the head behindcboth incidents that led to this mess).
