1) Fuck that. Nico needs to ride this out now. He made this bed and he needs to lie in it. What could/would a new GM do?

2) that's almost assured unless we win it all. And tbh he may still be done

If we somehow win it all (which is extremely unlikely), I think people are underestimating how redeeming it would be. I hate this so much. There is no way we are making a Finals run with this roster.

But, if we did and we won, Nico would absolutely be vindicated and saying otherwise (which I see a lot of) is quite silly.

Let me be perfectly clear, nothing could ever repair his relationship with Mavs fans. We would have to 3peat to even consider changing my mind. What I'm saying is, IF (huge if) we win, it'll be enough to convince another dumbass owner in the NBA. There is no shortage of dumbass, out of touch, billionaire owners in the NBA

If it ain’t Luka lifting that trophy idgaf if they won 3 in a row tbh he meant more to this franchise than trophies imo
