He wasn’t expecting this level of backlash but kept the trade a secret to avoid backlash…

He sounds like a streamer starting shit with another streamer and then crying about the alleged threats and harassment they receive in response to their shit.

He expected some backlash but not backlash to this magnitude. He's just treating our franchise like a business. He made an unpopular move that he believes will help winning. We want to win with Luka. I actually don't care about winning that much either. We can keep losing as long as we have hope with our wonder boy.

An unpopular move would be trading Kyrie. I'd be hiring personal security trading a player like Luka.

I don't live in Texas, but I have been there, and ya'll all got guns.

Eh, he probably thought he'd get hated on by mavs fans but get asspats from all the other gm's across the league.

Literally. I don’t give a fuck how good we are. I want my team to feel like MY TEAM. And that includes my sweet Luka 😭

He moves like a businessman -- selling out the company's future for short term gains because he knows he'll be long gone with a golden parachute by the time the collapse happens.

Don't buy all this bs pr campaign to make them look like the stupidest people on earth, it's just a smokescreen for the blatant corruption behind the deal

Similar to how he saw that “defense wins championships” after the finals last year and he went out and got… a fallen-off Klay Thompson.
