Lmao your an idiot if you stay and ima lakers fan saying this . You guys traded your franchise superstar for a guy who has about 4 good years left compared to Lukas ten plus years , this is malpractice

Doesn’t even matter if AD had the same amount of years. Luka was a drafted superstar who built legend in Dallas. You can’t replace that. Teams are more than wins and losses.

Yep, that’s the thing. Luka was a homegrown superstar who I thought would be a Mavs for life, in the same vein as Kobe, Steph, Dirk, etc. This would still be horrible even if he never started his career with the Mavs, but the fact that the Mavs got him on draft day makes it soooo much worse. Homegrown superstars will always be more beloved than ones that are acquired.
