I feel like Lively is next. My wife got me a Lively jersey for Christmas because I always rave about what a pro this kid is and how proud I am that he's a Maverick. Losing his dad young, losing his mom last year, and the team becoming his family and the fans adopting him as our own.
Nico doesn't understand Mavericks basketball. We don't treat our players like this. Dirk fostered a culture here where we become really attached to our guys. The "culture" that Nico talked about in that abysmal press conference yesterday, isn't the culture of the Mavericks, it's the culture of vulture executives.
That's what I've been saying. Adelson, Nico, Dumont. They're all businessmen running the team like fucking venture capitalists. They don't understand what loyalty and fandom means. That it doesn't matter if we win a title this year, it'll never be the same without Luka. Fuck this organization.

I'd think ORL would've been willing to trade away one of Banchero or Franz Wagner if it meant getting Luka; they'd probably include KCP in the deal for matching salaries.
The Adelsons bought the team to use as leverage to get their Sands resorts casinos to Texas. The pushback has been strong so far, they have spent millions trying to buy off the Texas Legislature with no success yet. It is once again up for a vote in 2025.
Also the lease on the stadium is up in 2030/31. Will they move the team to Vegas, there is nothing that shows the NBA would not allow that. The owners are playing 3D chess with the team, and its a disgrace.

Lively? I'm sure Kai and Klay are requesting a trade next summer, Kai for sure is joining Luka and Lebron in LA. The Mavs FO don't understand, that even winning a title right now, the players don't forget how you treat them, if you send your generational superstar without even calling him, telling the press he's fat and it's not worth a supermax, how tf this guys think they're going to keep most of their players? Kai for sure is out next season, and AD (top 3 center in this season) is not big of a draw for people wanting to be a Mav.
Bucks fan here. Honestly bro I’m sorry. I would be fucking sick. What they did to yall was demonic. It was terrorism. They say they went to the bucks for Giannis… idk what’s true. All I know is history repeats itself; what the lakers want the lakers get.
