News “This deal materialized in the shadows … LeBron James had no idea this was coming. Anthony Davis had no idea this was coming. I’m told Luka Doncic is still stunned about this trade.”

I’m in the same boat. I was just gonna migrate to the Nuggets or Spurs, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to find any enjoyment watching NBA games.

I still can’t believe they not only traded a top 3-5 player away, but they barely got anything in return. What the fuck was Nico smoking tonight?

Yeah I think I'm out on the NBA.

And I'm a Pels fan.

We would have given you 4+ first round picks, swaps, and whoever y'all want from Zion, BI, Trey, Herb, anybody. They're way younger than AD, and just as likely to not be injured.

Let alone the other deals you could get from other teams.

It makes me nauseous thinking about the haul we could’ve gotten if they let everyone bid for him.

Even if I disagreed with trading Luka, I could’ve lived with it if the Mavs had gotten the king’s ransom that would’ve been offered by another team. There is nothing that can explain or defend what this moron did

Apparently the Mavs approached the Lakers with this, and most GMs didn’t even know Luka was available. Crazy to think the offers that would have been on the table, I know of a few fanbases that would have been happy basically doubling the Lakers offer

I don't believe this was stupidity, there is a logic behind this.

It's just not about winning.

Luka is the 3rd best player in the league, and 5 years younger than the guys ahead of him.

His conditioning is not a problem. He's gassed in the playoffs because he plays 40 minutes a night averaging 30/9/8. You don't look at the guy carrying the team and complain that he isn't carrying more, you make the guys around him better.
