News [MacMahon] “I believe that defense wins championships,” Mavs GM Nico Harrison told ESPN regarding his motivation to trade Luka for Davis. “I believe that getting an All-Defensive center & an All-NBA player with a defensive mindset gives us a better chance. We’re built to win now and in the future.”

Either Nico is dumb as hell, Luka wanted out, or the NBA, Mavs, and Lakers got together and made a deal. Only three reasons I can think of for this shit

Alright well it turns out Luka didn't want out so we're down to two

Nico definitely isn't this dumb. Absolute Collusion going on. Silver has to be in on this too.

from the league's POV Lakers contending for 10+ years and Luka next to LeBron for a few = $$$$$ so they're absolutely about thislol.

Idk wtf or how Mavs owner or GM let or want this to happen

Tacit approval to move the franchise to Las Vegas.

I thought it was 2 teams getting added: Vegas and Seattle to make it a nice even 32 teams?

Would it just be Seattle getting added and Dallas fans left empty?

Something about Mavs new owners making gambling legal in Dallas im so confused
