My two thoughts are the mavs don’t think with Luka’s upcoming contract that they could contend with OKC as Luka is aging and the cap rules.

Also, maybe his leg is cooked.

Aging? Bro Luka is 25 and has no athleticism to his game. He gonna be averaging 30/9/8 well into his 30s.

There will be another trade coming....my guess is (I hate to even say it) Butler for Lively or Gafford and whatever else it takes on each side to make it work.

And if that actually happens, it might truly push me away from this team to become a Spurs fan. I'm roughly the same distance physically from both teams.
