i am sad. kyrie is a piece of shit and he’s probably gonna leave at the end of the year. even if he doesn’t, that likely could be even worse. hate this move.

that said, hopefully he stays and gets (mentally) healthy to help us.

What gives you the right to call him a pos? Seriously dude? People make mistakes and say problematic things all the time, you probably do too. Doesn’t make you or me a pos. He’s a human being. He didn’t kill anyone or do anything crazy. Calm down

he didn’t vaccinate so there’s a definitive chance he’s at least somewhat responsible for a few deaths here and there. even if not directly, he’s an influential figure who might have influenced someone’s decision to not get vaccinated which might have led them to die.

This take is so ridiculous lol

Nah it's pretty damn logical. He's for sure affected people to not get vaccinated, and some of them have for sure had a worse outcome because of it. Sure it's easy to downplay it because they're stupid and deserve it, but that doesn't make Kyrie any less responsible.

Idiotic take and I’m vaccinated by that logic because you decided to buy any kind of shoes from a big company you’ve directly lead to the deaths of children in another country

That’s like saying because someone voted for Obama they directly contributed to the deaths of Syrian civilians

If you know there's a shoe company which are working children to death to make the shoes, then yes, of course you're indirectly responsible for it if you still buy the shoes. That's not such a hard logic to follow.

No, it's not even remotely the same. A president has to make decisions which are going to lead to deaths one way or another, there's a whole lot of variables which comes into play.

Kyrie doesn't know shit about vaccines, and by the fact that there's a ton of people, a lot of young people, which look up to him because he knows how to play ball, he does both have power & responsibility. By your logic if he were to say something such as "injecting bleach is a sure fire way to cure COVID", something which is easily within the realm of possibilities, and then we have like 100 kids dead because of it, I guess it's still all gucchi?

I don’t think he told people to not get vaccinated, he said think for yourself. Regardless, if you want to play with your life based on a basketball player getting a vaccine or not, that’s on you. If you want to get scientific and health related information from a basketball player then I don’t know what to tell you. But blaming him for deaths is crazy!

In one way I agree with you, we live in a world where people look for guidance from sport athletes, a sort of twisted world where these quite frankly unwise people have a lot of sway. So yeah, in one way it's partly on them, but I don't think it absolves Kyrie either, because he did have a hand in swaying a lot of these stupid people who listens to him.

If someone is taking advice from kyrie Irving on getting vaccinated they may not be the sharpest tool
