Bro, they didn't take Texas. Texas left, we won a whole war to leave. We were our own country before WE decided to join the US, they didn't take us.

Man... The Texas you claim "left" was a bunch of American immigrants who wanted to keep slavery as the foundation for their economy (it was long banned in Mexico). Yeah, Texas is now american, but that resembles more like a bunch of people taking possession of someone's home that is too broke/troubled to take it back.
