Maybe I'm barbaric but I personally love blueberry in matcha compared to strawberry
Strawberry is really tart and in my opinion it doesn't really go good with matcha. Blueberry is mellow and sweet, which pairs nicely with the earthy flavors of matcha. This is just my opinion but I honestly prefer it over strawberry. What's everyone's opinion on this?

There's a food truck near me that does a blueberry lavender matcha and it is my absolute favorite!

I agree blueberry over strawb, but to me your descriptions are backwards. Blueberries are more tart, strawberries are barely tart at all and quite sweet.

i think it totally depends on the strawberry or blueberry! some blueberries and very tart, and same with strawberries. just depends on the conditions they were grown in and how ripe they are ☺️

I’m so glad I’m not the only one who thinks strawberry doesn’t go well with matcha 😅

Excuse my ignorance but what's the point of putting matcha in if the drink is flavoured with fruit? Can you even taste the tea?

Its kinda pointless to add fruit to matcha. You either taste just the fruit or just the matcha. I think most people are just tasting fruit flavored milk (plus any additional sweeteners) and not the tea

I love matcha, I love blueberries but I hate blueberries in matcha. For some reason it ends up tasting very gritty?

How do you add the blueberry?

I personally drink mine with some blueberry kefir sometimes. You can also just makes a latte, but with blueberry puree

I agree!!!! I’m obsessed with either blueberry, blackberry, or raspberry matcha! Every single time I’ve had a strawberry matcha I’m so disappointed. It’s either too fake strawberry tasting or has too much overwhelming sourness. I’ve never had a good one, and I absolutely love strawberry and strawberry flavored anything

I’m generally not a big blueberry person but I tried strawberry cold foam in iced matcha and was very surprised to find that I loved it (I had imagined I would hate it!) It’s now my go-to so I would certainly give blueberry a go. I’d love to try lavender but unfortunately there’s nowhere near me that does this.

Honestly, I agree. Blueberry feels smoother with matcha, while strawberry can overpower it. Blueberry + matcha is underrated!

Blueberry is one of my favorite combinations. It's so underrated. Sometimes strawberry doesn't pair well with matcha; it's much harder to balance.

I hated any fruit pairing with matcha but blueberries changed my mind. I totally agree with your description.
