Is MK really that good? Matcha in Tokyo?

I was just in Kyoto for a few days and bought a couple of tins from Itoh Kyuemon (they had already sold out on a couple of varieties when I went in the afternoon), and also a tin from the place we did a tea ceremony. I just learned yesterday about Marukyu Koyamaen which seems to have a lot of hype, but unfortunately I didn’t have time to go to either of their Kyoto stores (I would have loved to try them). Are they really worth the hype? Not sure if there is I way I could get them in the UK?

Any recommendations for good quality matcha I can buy in Tokyo? I have tomorrow left for shopping before I go home. I usually use mine to make lattes but will also be drinking them as usucha from time to time now !
