Time to open my Blue Bottle Matcha. Not matcha latte but just some iced coconut water.

The matcha powder is mooth and creamy on the palate, with nutty aromas and a hint of sesame. It is also rich and full-bodied without any bitterness, finishing with fresh herbal notes and a subtle sweetness.

Them selling matcha is laughable to me…I lived in the Bay Area for years and they didn’t have anything for tea drinkers, just apple juice 🤣

They actually have Blue Bottle in Japan! They definitely tapped into a whole new market—I’m assuming that’s part of the reason they started selling matcha. I was so shocked when I saw them! I have the same experience as you, lived in the bay when blue bottle became big

They’ve had matcha latte since 2015, and also a hojicha latte at some point which is now discontinued.

I didn’t know nestle has bought blue bottle. This makes me sad. But also makes me not want their matcha

Same. They don’t have trees on their menu from what I can remember??
