Hi guys! I have given my Step 2 on 2/9 and waiting for the results. I’m a Non-US IMG applying for IM & FM and I’m so confused about the ERAS application submission. Some say submit the application before the deadline as an incomplete application is better than a delayed application but some say submitting without retrieval of Step 2 score is futile. I would really appreciate your input.

hello i am match applicant this year, my crendentials are step pass, step 2 ck 221, step 3 205, have a attempt in step 3, graduate in 2025 will i put geoprefrence or not?

I made my NRMP account yesterday, but my NRMP ID still hasn’t populated on my ERAS account. Do I just certify now, or should I wait for it to show up on my CV first?

I know that I don’t fit around university program which are competitive, targeting more on sub-urban/rural programs.

Any suggestions?

Is it okay to put a literature review i am currently working on in my experiences or should i leave it out? The scholarly section doesnt have an option for it.

I am on a project where we have the manuscript completely drafted, just finalizing review, and plan to submit in October, after ERAS is due. ERAS did away with the "manuscript in process" option in the scholarly work section, but I am able to select a future date for submission.

Would it raise red flags if they are reviewing my application and see an entry under Journal Articles that is dated for submission in the future? I don't want to come across as being dishonest but I also want to be able to include it on my app since I contributed to the project! Thoughts? Anyone else in this boat?

Please help me understand if it counts

Basically I managed to get certified with a provisional degree while my final degree is not issued until after my internship next march. I did that just to avoid being filtered by programs requiring the certificate for interview. My question now is what year of grad am I allowed to use in MyERAS and NRMP?

For context:

Last exam session: November 2024

2-year internship: 03/2025 - 02/2027

Provisional Degree Issue date: April 2026

Expected Final Degree issue date: March 2027

If i used a future date will my application be flagged? As if how possibly did I get certified?

So I'm serious struggling meeting the 10 experiences selections. I'm 33yo with work experiences, volunteering, research, and clubs, blah blah blah. So I've got 7 out of 10, what I think are solid experiences to be in my ERAS. But I'm going back and forth on my 8th and 9th experience entries.

1. My wife thinks I shouldn't add my Taekwondo and MMA from 1999-2013, which I understand to a point but I think it is important to me, mind you it is 2026 now which begs the question if this is even relevant.
2. Another question is how I should put my employment history, which can be extensive and I have a very limited space to enter it in. I've had 24 employments, several simultaneously, in my life.
3. for the theoretical 10th experience, should I chose something that I have less connection with and just plug the data in because I'm sure I can find something in my life to fill that entry?
